Very rare 1997 Lexus SC300 Manual. Only 120 ever made. If you know these cars you are already aware this has the same drivetrain as an NA MK4 supra with the 2JZ-GE motor and W58 transmission.

The car is in great shape and needs absolutely nothing from a mechanical perspective. Everything works 100% the way it should.

Clean title in hand and clean autocheck with no accidents. This car has lived in NC and SC it's whole life.

The car is all stock with the exception. of the seats. The original leather was cracked and I put these professionally reupholstered seats, done in high quality suede. They look and feel fantastic and were a lot more expensive than the cheap ebay leather.

The only imperfections are as follows;
1-Crack in drivers door interior window sill (very common)
2-Leather armrest needs to be redone (a new one can be had for $25)
3-Front bumper, rear bumper and spoiler have some paint chips and would have to be resprayed to me them perfect (was quoted about $920 by Lexus of Greenville). The front bumper has a crack which was pointed out to me by a clublexus member. If I do the paint repairs, this will be taken care of as well

As you can see, this car does not need much to look perfect. Come take this sweet and unique car home today!

Price: $7500 OBO.

Already bought another car, but still drive the SC almost every day. This is an awesome car and I know someone will really enjoy it.
Make me a reasonable offer and it can be yours!

That front bumper looks like it's busted(broken). That is more than just paint chips. I'm interested in the car but seems like it is being mis-represented.

After a closer look your are right, there is a crack on the liwer passe ger side of the bumper. The paint is also chipped. Lexus of Greenville will paint both bumpers and spoiler for about $920. Since I am selling I will let the new owner do that.
I am not the kind of person who misrepresents things I have for sale, so believe me when I say I did not notice this until now. I can send you photos of anything you would like if you are truly interested.

Yeah I agree, but there are probably less than 10 black on black 97 5 speeds. It would sure be nice to have 1😊

I think he saying it looks like there's a crack in the bumper. In the pic it looks like theres a line next to the passenger side fog light. Looks as if the bumper has a cut in it.

Well, I just went outside to look at it and you are correct. I really apologize...and trust me, it was not my ibtention to misreprese the condition of the car. To be honest (and though you might find it hard to believe) I didn't even noticed that crack as I took the pics.

I knew the car needed paint in the bumper but never noticed the crack. Anyway, I will let the dealer fix/paint that along with the rear bumper and spoiler.

Other than paint issues and the other minor issues I mentioned in my original post, this car is solid.

I am ready to sell, so feel free to make your offers.

Thanks.

You never answered my question. Is the car titled in your name? How long have you owned it? How many miles have you put on the car?

The title is not yet in my name. Doing that next week. I have only had the car for a little less than a month and have put about 1000 miles on it. The prior owner from NC had it for more than 7 years.

Here is the story:

I already had another 97 SC300 manual, but saw this one for sale last month. Knowing how rare these cars are I figure I'd get this one too, make it as nice as possible and sell it later in the year. So far I have redone the seats and now it just needs the bumpers and spoiler to be painted, and a new armrest and window sill.

Instead of doing that myself I figured I'd put it for sale as it is and let the next owner take care of those things if he chooses to. As previously stated, other than those things the car is really nice.

I know I didnt have to tell you, but Im just trying to be transparent since you asked. Let me know via email if you have other questions. I don't check the forums too often.
Thanks.

I guess that makes me the first person to ever buy something and try to resell it for a potential profit.
I figured it would be good to post here and maybe someone who appreciates these cars would have a chance to own it. Nobody is being forced to buy it, and trust me, I would hardly make anything from selling this SC. I will probably just end up breaking even at best based on the demand I see for these cars. I wish I could keep it, but having two identical SC is definitely not practical.

Anyway, Im not sure what bothers you so much about my ad. I think I have answered your questions honestly and I would appreciate it if you stopped posting on my for sale thread unless you have other legitimate questions about the car and you are interested in it.

Thanks.
