FS: 1998 Lexus LS400 - asking $5,400
 

I am the third owner of this car, the previous two located in Texas. Original books and records, one main and one valet key with one remote.

I am selling this to upgrade to an LS430.

144k miles, timing belt change done in 2014 at 101,609 miles.

I also have a Beatsonic SLA-22 harness I'll include with the sale so you can install an aftermarket stereo and keep the stock subwoofer.

Overall good condition, here's what needs attention for the perfect car:

• paint on upper part of rear bumper is fading
• instrument cluster occasionally blinks, inaccurate gas gauge, speedometer off a little bit (fix available from a vendor on this site) - sent 9/1 for repair, car available in about 3 wks
• front lower valance needs paint around front license plate area
• The right mirror needs seating

I recently had the brake discs and pads replaced, and I cleaned out the throttle body and low idle chambers to insure good acceleration from low speeds in turns.

I saw this vehicle today, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean LS400. It is in very nice condition.

The instrument cluster is on it's way to Tanin Auto Electric for capacitor refurbishment.

The car should be available in about three weeks - with working gauges.

Was water pump also replaced? thanks

Yes, it was, as noted on the service invoice. It was done at an independent shop.

Is this one still available?
