there is a 2000 SC300 selling in MD with 23K miles. They also started at 15K and now the price has dropped.

It is not a 1 of 120, but same condition. GLWS!

I don't doubt it is very nice but we all know the 97 sc300 manual is definitely especial. Besides, I never said my price was firm.
Thanks.

How did you come up with an asking price of $15300? KBB list as excellent condition for about $6200. You are asking $9000 about KBB and is not even a classic yet. Reasonable would be around 9000. Good Luck!

I'm trying to figure out why people keep coming into this thread and criticizing my price. Everybody knows KBB works well for your everyday car but it's pretty bad for low production cars. Here how I came up with my price: I compared to all the other lower mile 1997 SC300 manual for sale currently (which is pretty much none). I also based it on what I paid for the car. If you don't like the price please move on to the next car for sale. I know this car will go to the right owner and for the right price for both parties.

Thanks.

don't let people steer you with a lower price, stay firm and wait it out, someone will buy it. to many tire kicker kids think they can get one cheaper but in the end it will add up to these prices.

For some reason, this sight is not very good for selling cars, at least not '97 manual SC's. There's always discussion about how people want them, but mine's been on here for 2 years or more. Autotrader seems to move them faster, I just haven't had time to do it, but will soon. I think miles, condition & color justify you're ASKING price, although $14,900 SEEMS cheaper, haha

Thanks guys. I agree with your assesment. This site used to be effective for selling cars a few years ago. Nowadays it seems like everyone only cares about the price without too much regards to uniqueness/condition.
I also have the car on Cars.com and will also place it on eBay and autotrader in the near future. Just wanted to give my fellow Clublexus members an opportunity to get it first.

I am looking (casually) for a NICE 98-00. Unfortunately I am not looking for a 5 speed.

I just sold a 2004 Chev SSR that I bought new, never driven in the rain 26K miles, not a mark on it and I have the original window sticker and every service record. I was kind of active on the SSR forum
(great/helpful group of people) but when I posted my SSR for sale at "my" price I got the opposite of support.

Point is that one thinks offering it on the enthusiasts site might be best , some "enthusiasts" become price/value experts.

I did get action, and my price, on Autotrader.

My 2 cents worth
Dean

Ebay is just as bad really, you will get many angry people who can't afford it and will in salt you on ebay.Auto trader works the best.
