Just a bit worried about the reliability but then again I just picked up a Denali so this would be a record 2 American cars in our driveway! haha
Got my CTS-V for $45k. It's a CPO 2012 with full warranty till 2018. I absolutely love this thing. The mod possibilities are endless and really cheap. I added an Airaid intake and did a straight pipe/muffler delete and it sounds unreal especially with the manual transmission. Downshifts are all crackles and pops like a AMG Benz on roids. Crazy that $1500 can get an extra 100 horses to the wheels with basically a tune and pulley. My suggestion is when u find a 6 speed manual Vagon or sedan don't **** around on the price if miles are low and car is clean. Clean manual cars sell almost immediately if price is fair. So far no issues at all with mine but I have only had it around 4 months. I'm not worried about anything cause Cadillac CPO warranty covers bumper to bumper if something goes wrong. I did call about a GM platinum extended warranty on a non CPO 2012 V and u can get a 3 yr 39k mile extended bumper to bumper for around $1900 on a 2012 with around 30k miles on it. Not a bad price to have peace of mind. Good thing is that GM has a 10 yr 120k mile warranty on all V cars on the supercharger. Some cars had rattling superchargers so GM just gave 10 yr warranty and any signs it makes rattling noise they will replace it with the newer solid isolator one for free.

This x10000!

I called on an OBM (blue) V wagon 3 mins after it was posted online, hopped in the F to make the 30 min drive up to trade it in on the V, and got a call on the way up that it sold.

hmm, I guess the differentiator is the MANUAL tranny? I was looking at this 2014 white with 7k miles, they are asking $69k:

That is a terrible price on that car and it's also an automatic. The holy grail V as u prob know is the blue metallic Vagon with 6M tranny. That combo would prob go for mid to upper $60k. I tried forever to find a blue sedan with 6m but never saw one for sale. I do believe the manual Vagon will be like the twin turbo Supra and become a serious collector car years from now.

I must be getting old, or Indiana Jones found the wrong holy grail. Ahhhhh holy grail, is that where they couldn't open their eyes?

Well I agree the 6MT in any high performance car is in demand, same holds true for the R8 v10 market as well

Color is always subjective though since for me, white would be the holy grail

Guess I need to shop a bit harder if I really wanted a white wagon (6MT) or otherwise might just shop around a bit more. For $60 large, I'm inching into the Panamera GTS which is another car I really want to try. Already had the IS-F so I know it's a great car and also like the new C63 too.

There's a blue 2013 6MT sedan for sale at auction right now w/23k miles. It has a black interior, but doesn't have recaros. Didn't get any bids the last time it was up at auction. Starting bid price is $42.6k. If it had the recaros, I'd probably forego the wagon idea and jump on it.
