Default 766 rwhp 2000 Lexus GS with 77k miles****Built right***

I have been around here forever and many of you have watched the progression over the years with this car. Those that are familiar know that no expenses were ever spared on all of the transitions, and I dont do anything half *** with this car. As many of us do in this game, I have reached a point where I am itching for a new build....now that its finally right where i want it . I threw up another post for the roller, thinking I was going to put this drive train in the next project (I have a few really cool ideas on the next one). I still will do this under the right circumstances, but I have had a bunch of people asking about selling the car whole. To be honest with you, it would almost be heart breaking to tear it apart anyhow, its is just so perfectly done at this point.

So here is the run down on the cars transitions in my ownership. I am the second owner of the car, I bought the car in 2001 from the original owner (florida car). When I bought it in 01 the car had 73,550 miles on it. I spent over two years having the car built with a custom twin turbo kit for the 1UZ motor, uilt motor, TH400 race tranny, etc, etc.. I went through many transitions to make the car better along the way, mostly transmission oriented. I came to a point where I just wasnt happy with it, and wanted to go a route that I knew I would be happy having owned a few Supras prior to the Lexus. I pulled the entire drivetrain and started a 2JZGTE build with the V160 Supra 6 speed tranny. Freed Engineering here in Maryland has done the entire build for me, and these guys know their 2JZ ****. I have known the owner for years prior to this build, and I wouldnt trust another shop to do it for me. They do not do anything half *** no matter what. The car at this point is what I would consider perfectly built. I could not be happier with the outcome of this car. The crazy **** is I have only put 4k miles on it in all of this time, half of that has been since this build was completed last fall. I have driven it more in less than a year than I have in 10 years.....shows how much I love the car now.

Car is a 2000 GS400 Platinum Edition, Millenium Silver with black leather interior....converted from the original grey. The black looks so much better. The body and all have right around 77k miles on it. the drive train has around 2k miles on it since being installed, probably less. Never been in an accident, has never been driven in the rain since I have owned it, so dings what so ever. A few small surface scratches here and there. When I say small, Im talking small and nothing you would notice without looking for them. The interior is in great shape, with a few wear marks on the drivers seat. I would have no doubt that anyone interested would be happy with the car in all aspects.

The car is set up with an AEM flex fuel sensor, and is tuned to run on either pump or E85. You do not have to re map the car, or hook up a laptop to run on either fuel. You do not have to run either fuel out before switching to one or the other. The sensor allows you to run either and it adjusts automatically to whatever the gas mix is in the car, and makes sure the boost, etc, etc, is adjusted accordingly. Works flawlessly. Example, if you are on 100% pump, it will be running around 20 psi of boost putting down in the 560rwp range on pump. If you are running 100% E85 it will be running 30psi of boost and putting down 766rwhp. If you have a mix, your parameters will automatically be adjsuted accordingly.

Here is a build sheet on the car, and I am sure I am forgetting a few things.

Thanks. Lots of interest, so we will see. I Ain't gonna lie, I have so much money, time, blood, sweat, and tears in this car, it's gonna be hard to let her go.

But, like many of us, I'm addicted to the build. Time to start another project.....in the Lexus family of course

a lot of people have asked the same question on PM's, so figured I would answer on here

AC works, matter of fact everything I can thing of works with the exception of cruise and VSC......all else is good. The more I think about it, the cruise might too......never used it.
