Clean 1998 gs400 black on black with navi! $4000!!
Looking to sell my 1998 Lexus GS400 because I don't need a second car. ASKING $4000 OBO
This car is impressive to say the least. Its a 98' and has every single option for the year. Black leather with navigation. The car has the ultra reliable 1uz v8 and a 5 speed automatic transmission. This car has 300hp and you can really feel it! The car has every luxury feature you can think of. Power everything.
Exterior: 8/10 has minor dings and scratches, nothing major. NO RUST
Interior: 9/10 very clean, drivers seat has small tear.
Mechanical:8/10 Engine and trans is EXCELLENT, Sometimes the front suspension is a bit noisy, ive located it down to the ball joints which are about $70. it doesn't affect driving its just a little noisy.
Also, The ABS light is one due to a bad ABS sensor, i'm not sure which wheel it is but the car runs and stops fine.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the gauge cluster was swapped out by one of the previous owners, the car displays 118k miles but according to carfax the car has 178k miles. I have a full printed carfax so you can verify. I've told the DMV about the issue and they said since the car is more than 10 years old it doesn't matter.
Overall, this is about as good of a car as you'll get for the price. Just needs a few fixes to be perfect.
