Very nice sleeper you have there. This car would be super sick with a fresh paint job, chrome supra wheels and a redone interior in black leather/suede. If you were closer to east coast where I could see and test drive with you I'd be super tempted to make an offer. This has got to feel like a beast!
I'm not a chrome guy, was just gonna get the wheels refreshed
I was torn on either a new paint job or a wrap. But the exterior is one of the things I love about my car the most, it looks so unsuspecting.

to each his own fellas.
Here's the facts:
1: you couldn't build my car for $20k. nope. (there's $20k just in my signature below, and there's a lot more to my car than what's in that sig)
2: the V160 is a high profile(bad a$$) expensive tranny, but not all it's cracked up to be. Put 2 equal HP supras or SCs next to each other, one with a r154 and one with V160, I'll put my money on the R154 all day. longer gears, less shifting. Actually, I've personally seen higher hp supras get beaten by a lesser HP supra. The lesser hp had the r154, the other...v160
3: warranty? you can lose your warranty if you install an aftermarket tune on a brand new car.
I'm not gonna go down this road again, but my car is worth WELL more than $10k. You could barely put my motor together for that. Not including labor.
The interior on a car like mine has little value. I could spend less than $1k on the interior and it would be immaculate. You're not paying for pretty with my car, you're paying for the pounding that it'll put on other cars.

No LSD. I'm not a fan. that breaks and you go one direction or the other, fast. Had a friend who broke one, not something I want to experience. Hooks up great with what I have and if I keep the car or decided to track it I would change the rear end. But not for what I do with it now.
Dirveshaft is 2 pieces. It had to be shortened but it is balanced.
No pump gas, all E85. It's an AEM V1 so theres only 1 map at a time. You could tune it for pump, but I have E85 a mile from my house and all over DFW. Higher boost, better gas.
Any other questions?

So you have 750whp with one tire fire? You need LSD bro. I had a Single MKIV Supra with 760whp and the LSD worked fine until I took to the 1/8 mile drag track with slicks. And IRS car will break **** at the drag track!

that is a sick car, def alot of money invested, as anyone who ever built a car knows. however honestly, if you really want to get your asking price, i would invest in the extra 1-2k and get it more presentable, it would appeal to a larger audience.

Getting the new window regulator in the next couple days hopefully and then I'll be able to address the drivers side door panel and the tint on the car.
The hood just needs a good buff, its badly oxidized from this Texas heat. I'll be doing that soon as well.
I almost had a new drivers seat the other day, but that didn't work out, it was a passenger seat.
Close to getting a new Climate control display and then I gotta trace the AC wiring, my AC is charged but I haven't hooked up the compressor.
So yea, I agree if it's better looking it'll be easier to sell. I posted early to see if there were any takers but I still work on it and drive it regularly.
