Default FS: 1998 Lexus GS300 Moderately Modded

Year: 1998
Model: GS300
Miles: 180k
Asking Price: 12,000 w/ all mods included and left on car

Alright, so i'm looking into possibly getting a newer car. I would like things to run as quick and smooth as possible if I am able to make this happen and pull the trigger on an LS i've got my eyes on. This is dependent on a few things outside of the car itself, so this may or may not fall into place. Not 100% sure as of yet, but I am hoping I can possibly move forward and away from the GS' and into an LS.

Anyways, i'm the 5th owner of this car if I remember correctly. I got it when I was 18 and the car was in horrendous shape and i've done major work to get it where it is today. I am now freshly 22. With that being said the maintenance is out of this world on this thing. Whoever does buy this will not have to do a major maint for quite some time. I will try to list everything that I have replaced on the car. I am mainly a DIY person, so a lot of maint was done by myself. If not I will list shop/person that did the work.

-: AC Compressor (2010)
-: 2 O2 Sensors (2010, can't remember which ones exactly)
-: AC Servo Motor (2010, AC was stuck on full blast)
-: Fuel Filter (2010)
-: LBJ & Outer Tie Rods (2010)
-: Battery (2011)
-: Timing Belt & Water Pump (2011)
-: Radiator (2012)
-: Rebuilt VVTI Gear & Seal (May 2012, Jeff Tsai)
-: Crankshaft Seal (May 2012, Jeff Tsai)
-: Valve Cover Gaskets (May 2012, Jeff Tsai)
-: Rear Main Seal (May 2012, Jeff Tsai)
-: 2 Door Lock Actuators (2012, Jeff Tsai)
-: Front/Rear Brake Pads (October 2012)
-: Front/Rear Rotors (October 2012)
-: LBJ/Outer Tie Rod (October 2012)
-: Throttle Body Assembly (November 2012)
-: Spark Plugs (2013)
-: Steering Rack Bushings (December 2013)

To be honest that should wrap up most of the maintenance. All of that has been done within the last 30k miles as I do not drive my car out of town. Farthest it's gone is Austin and back and that's only a 200 mile trip one way. I drive maybe 10-12k miles a year as it's my daily driver.

Cons:

-: Rear door lights do not light up when opening the door. I haven't really looked into this since it doesn't really bother me and I never use my back seats, but it may be a short in the lighting circuit or something. Not sure to be honest. They use to flicker somewhat now they don't come on unless the door is open for a minute or so, then they kick on.
-: One of the door lock actuators that was replaced acts up from time to time, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Jeff did this actuator and i'm sure if I bothered him about it he'd replace it or look into it. This is also on one of my rear doors, again I never really use the back of the car, so it doesn't bother me.
-: The body is not in the best condition. I do detail, so the paint looks good in the spots that don't have any damage etc, but the body of the car will need repainting. My car was vandalized in 2012 and was shot with a BB gun so there are pellet holes in the passenger QP and on the trunk lid near the tail light. Trunk lid has holes in it from me removing the spoiler, rear bumper needs repainting along with the front bumper and hood due to rock chips. The previous owners did not do a good job taking care of the car when it came to the exterior or interior. I basically got brand new interior, but the exterior I haven't touched yet.

And that's it for cons on the car! Now onto the mods. I will try to remember everything up front, but I am terrible at remembering and will probably edit later on.

-: Custom Junction Produce Grill (outer frame has been painted to match the color code of the car $1500)
-: Type 1 Junction Produce Mufflers (DISCONTINUED, $650)
-: Dual Headlight Retrofit with FX-R Projectors and Mini projectors in the high beams, bi-xenon setup (1,000)
-: Battle Version RUCA
-: Battle Version RLCA
-: Battle Version Toe Links
-: Battle Version Traction Links (whole BV setup ran me about $1300)
-: BC Coilovers Extreme Drop 16/14 (Less than 10k miles on them, paid 1k)
-: Intrax F/R Sway Bar Kit ($245)
-: FIGS F/R Sway End Links ($345)
-: FIGS Spherical LCA #2 Bushings in Arms ($275)
-: LED Interior Upgrade ($140)
-: 01+ Wood Wheel ($400)
-: 01+ Tails w/ K-Break Light Smoke Covers ($230 + $150 = $380 total)
-: Excalibur 2 Way Paging Alarm System ($650)
-: Llumar Air 80 Blue Tint ($610)
-: Top Speed Headers (FREE)
-: Black Interior Swap w/ New Leather
-: Futura Design Floor Mats ($150)

TOTAL = $8035 in Mods ONLY and that doesn't include maint cost over the years. 90% of these mods (especially all suspension) were just put on within the last year, so none of them have seen any extreme abuse.

I believe my asking price is fair based upon all of the mods included and all of the maintenance recently done to the car within the time that I have owned it. Like I said you will NOT have any major maint to be done to this car until almost 250k and that's a big IF. The leather on the seats are NEW. Just put on last year and you can tell that they're still in excellent condition. The rears have NEVER BEEN SAT IN and I hardly have passengers so the passenger seat is hardly sat in also. Only person ever sat in these seats is my girlfriend and at max that's 3-4 days out of the week for very short periods of time.

Now onto photos of the car. I just took these about 2 weeks ago, so they are most up to date.

You're very welcome.

As Luis said, part out has begun and parts are flying it seems. So far the JP Grille and Exhaust are sold. Battle Version RLCA and Traction Links are sold also. Retrofit, sways, and coilovers are all pending at the moment. I will update the thread/price as things get sold!
