For sale is a 1992 Lexus sc400 with the W58 5 speed. It still has the 1UZFE V8 motor. Most of the interior was redone with black and tan, and is in fairly good shape for its age. It also was recently reupholstered from tan to black. Car is currently plasti-dipped blue, but it needs some touch ups (not too bad though). Has Volk AV3 wheels with 275 35 18 18x10 in the rear, and 255 30 18 18x9 in the front. It is lowered on Espiler springs and tokico blues. They are currently plasti-dipped black with a bronze lip. Also has IMF headers with full custom exhaust, and incomplete BFI. Mishimoto radiator and a few more extras. Recent tune up and timing belt done. Engine was rebuilt at 158,000 miles according to the current cluster, which now a little under 220000. The previous owner had done all the work prior. I just added the performance parts to a rebuilt stock car.

There are a few problems with the car, but nothing major. The car tends to overheat, but I think this is due to an air pocket that is in system The top radiator hose punctured and was replaced, I refilled it, but have not bled it yet. It only slightly overheats when the AC is on, but not all the time. Bleeding the radiator should fix the problem. The other thing is a random start issue. It has only happened a few times in the last year, not so bothersome to me. It may just be the battery, but I think the car needs to be grounded better to fix this problem. It has not been a big deal, but it is still something that needs to be addressed. Lastly, the cluster red lines as 4000 rpm. I have another cluster, but it needs the lights replaced. I only kept it because it provides the correct speed limit in the car.

Car comes with a bunch of extra parts in a tote, and the stock wheels. I do have a bonded title in hand, but the bond expired in 2010. All in all the car runs good, and I use it as my daily for work.

Car needs a real paint job. Currently has plastidip blue on it. It was sprayed with a paint gun, so it is not too bad, but I would prefer a nicer paint job.
Wheels could be redone (also plastidip)
Small overheating issue (FIXED)
Gauge Cluster does not show rev past 4000RPM (but I have a cluster that does)
Clutch needs to be bled. Works fine, just have to pump it a couple of times before you drive it.
Car has some small imperfections here and there.
