looking for a project to buy
Lokking for either an sc300 or 400 doesn't matter I would like it to have a clean title .don't really care if the leather isn't in the best condition . Basically any condition. Lol. looking to spend 1500 or lower .like i said condition is no issue. o yeah its gotta atleast have an interior

I'm in Maine and have a Palm Springs, CA, desert car here that I'm forced to sell. It's a 1992 SC 400 creampuff, all original; 47,785 miles; Champagne paint & leather; loaded; blue books for $9375 and is in the 95-98 percentile for its class. Never had any major work done. Timing chain was replaced by last owner at 36,000 mi. for safety reasons only. Have all records of maintenance. Moving back to CA full-time and have four cars. This car is immaculate. I know it's out of your budget but my 97 red/tan 5 speed SC would be a perfect project. It's also ready to drive so you can enjoy the car while you take the time to plan out your build.

I have a 92 SC300 5MT Dark Green metalic dunno what Lexus calls it.
Conditon
Leather passenger seat is good the rest is meh
Body isn't that bad
Clear is peeling on hood, spoiler, and gas cap.
Engine is pretty strong 181xxx
Radiator leaks at the top
Steering is meh i think it just needs new steering rack bushings
Clutch is sticking but still works and not slipping probaly needs flushed or one of the cylinders rebuilt
I would take 1500 thou.

But I couldn't sell it until I get a different car or the summer since I'm hopefully selling my CRX today and my NSX doesn't have wipers and I ain't about to DD it even if I put the wipers back on.
