holds power fine actually. the limiting factor was my dam clutch!
HKS told me it would hold 800WHP, and it started to slip at 697WHP, so rather than killing a brand new clutch, we just stopped where we were. i was very happy with 697, it is plenty fast.
a friend of mine in NY(long island) also has a used R154 holding about 760 WHP without any hiccups.
my R154 was brand new. i had to special order from toyota japan and wait about 6 months for customs.

why does it matter if his dd has been sitting? this is a FS thread. if your questions do not pertain to purchasing this car, pm him. no need to clutter up this sale thread with jibberish.
on a more recent note... i know he took the car out for a spin recently and had all smiles from head to toe. i hear he's thinking about keeping it again but who knows.. the economy is not our friend. lol

just to clarify a few things, thru turbo is300 isnt my daily driver.
the turbo is300 is a 2003 manual, and i am sole owner with title in hand. my daily driver is a 2004 auto. they both happen to be the same color and have same interior trims.
the turbo car does run, and in fact i did just drive it last week. i had it down at 6 psi just to drive it aorund and keep it moving, etc. felt great.
the intake manifold will be replaced shortly by a GTE styled one fabricated by first state motorsports(www.fsmoto.com)
once intake mani is replaced, car is hitting body shop to have hks kit painted and installed, and i am waiting ona new BBK for the front.
car is still for sale, but price is back where it should be for what is included.
if it sells, it sells. if it doesnt, it doesnt. but it is still up on the market. economy is rough.

its a 2003. i am single owner. title ready to sign over. if you drive in vacuum, car has stock fuel mileage. the more you hammer it, the more gas you use.
