FS or Trade: NJ 1992 SC300 5spd, burgundy / black
I am selling my 1992 Lexus SC300. I am asking $6500 or preferably I would like to trade for any automatic Lexus in great shape with records if possible. Any trade vehicle must be in perfect running condition, all accessories must work, cosmetically some flex depending on age
Optional:
Brand new TRD f/r sway bars $250
Sound Performance SP57 turbo $500
2JZGE Header, brand new $450
Methanol Injection: $150
Brand new OEM driver side door hinge, just in case! $150
Take it all, with the car for an additional: $1,000. I will NOT sell any of these parts until the car is sold / traded.
This car has been well-maintained, dealer serviced. All parts used were genuine Toyota/Lexus parts, with the exception of Vlamos steering rack bushing.
The car is located in southern NEW JERSEY.

265/35ZR-18 Kumho ECSTA MX ~6,000miles on them
225/40ZR-18 Kumho ECSTA MX ~6,000miles on them
Recent Service January 2007 at Larkin Performance:
-New cap, rotor and wires
-New spark plugs
History and Maintenance
The car was owned by an elderly gentleman after sending off his last tuition check for his kid in college. He fully admits it was a midlife crisis thing. The car was purchased in Colorado, and the owner moved around from Texas (most of the car's life was spent there), Washington state, and finally southern California the previous owner bought it (MoogieBoogie on the forums). I bought the car from Brian in May/June 2006 and I am NOT a motivated seller So, if you’re looking for a cheap DD / beater / SC you can low-ball on…keep looking. The only reason I’m selling is because the wifey cannot drive stick and every time I need to tow my Supra I have to use her truck and swap vehicles with her.
Remember, this is a 5spd / black interior with service records since DAY ONE!!
If I don’t get a good trade or near my asking price, I’ll just keep it and teach her to drive it…which she is also ok with
- oil changed with Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 oil and Toyota OEM filter every 3000 miles
- timing belt, water pump, major tune-up performed at 90k miles by Lexus dealership
- all services done at Lexus dealer prior to my ownership. I had major work done by Lexus dealer, and oil changes done at my local Toyota dealer. All service records available with original window sticker.
- air conditioning system completely replaced with new genuine Lexus parts at Lexus of Englewood in August 2004. This cost approximately $2800.
- front lower control arms changed to new genuine Toyota Supra lower control arms in August 2004.
- transmission fluid changed to Redline MT-90 at 110k miles.
- car runs great with no issues at all.
Vehicle Condition
- there is a scratch parallel to the ground on the drivers side door side skirt area, not on the actual door, from a run-away shopping cart.
- some minor dings on the door.
- very small dent on passenger front fender ~2” long.

Jay,
Sorry to see you selling it. I wish I could buy it back from you! Of all the cars I've had, I probably miss that one the most.
Bump for a great seller, and a car that is amazingly mint for the year.

Thanks Brian and you're right, EVERYONE that sees it is floored when i tell them it's a '92.
Don't worry, I will not be heart broken if it doesn't sell or trade. If it doesn't...I'm putting on the SP57 and TRD sway bars!!

Ok...I gotta put this out there....
If you make an offer and I accept, follow through OR at very least email or call me and tell me otherwise. Don't let me sit around and turn down other guys waiting on you. I have now waisted time with no less than 3 "serious" buyers...
If someone wants it, let me know...
