Confirmed? No.
AutoSpies? Definately not the best source to find "confirmation."

They got their info from Australian Lexus manager's quote from other websites, so hopefully, there may be some truth to it . . . but that's still far from an official confirmation.

i know people that work for autospies and they have been pretty spot on with all their "news". Usually, way before others.

I just hope they make the IS coupe a bit more distinctive than just a 2-door version of the IS sedan. The IS sedan itself already looks coupe-like though.

Its coming as a retractable hardtop/targa/convert. Confirmed for 2009. No IS-F coupe model planned.

Even if it's true, the guy said, "in the future." That could be 2020. Could be next year but usually the future means not anytime soon.

any engine upgrades? i assume that the IS will be kept in lifecycle for at least another 4 years after 2009.

A 4.0 liter upgrade would be nice for the 2 door...Highly unlikely though.
