NX Wind Turbulence Noise
 

The NX exhibits noticeable wind turbulence noise around the driver (and passenger) front side glass. This is really unexpected and disappointing as it's perceptibly worse than other lesser CUVs and sedans I've owned or driven.

Early 2010 Lexus RX builds had the same issue and Lexus listened to their customers and a TSIB was issued L-SB-0014-10 (attached).

I expect Lexus to respond in the same manner and provide Lamisafe acoustic side glass on the NX and make it drive like a Lexus should. Please see affected others who have also voiced their dissatisfaction in this poll: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...ind-noise.html

My 2016 IS200t gets a little whistling at highway speeds which sounds like it's coming from the top of the door frame. It's consistent and happens all the time. I have a feeling it might be from the little vertical slit in the rubber stripping right at the top of the frame. I think it's there for water channeling. I have a feeling wind is catching on it. It's not a huge deal but annoying. Definitely not buffeting like yours though.
