I today changed a faulty 12v battery on my 09 Lexus Rx 400Hh hybrid and noticed a leak coming from the expansion tank that i now believe is the inverter resovoir. It was coming from below the tank and a guy at the parts shop said i should put some rad weld in it to seal up the leak!!
It did indeed stop the leak. I then reset all windows and moon window and power back door. Went for a drive and noticed a warning come up saying check hybrid system check vsc system then car just stopped
I managed to start it again and got home. But after reading wonder if i have messed up the inverter pump. Or worse inverter or is it related to the changing of the 12v battery???? Any advise please ???
