Default Hard wire cam and valentine advice

hi guys. I have a valentine radar detector (highly recommended worth every cent) and a BlackVue cam. i have everything set up and im ready to hard wire. there are 2 fuses boxes on both the driver and passenger side. I have fuse splices (the stackable type that holds both fuses) and was going to go into the seats. could someone tell me the proper way or a better way? part of me thinks i want to run the wires threw the firewall and go right to the battery on a stand alone fuse. I just remember my amp years ago ran right to the battery. thats the extent of my knowledge. thank you !

I have a add a fuse that you can simply plug into an existing fuse and then add a fuse and wiring with it. I have this placed in the cig lighter spot in the passenger foot well fuse box. I have this running a step down converter then to the dash cam. I also have a t from the power wire that runs to the v1 bluetooth module and then runs to the v1.
