Has anyone tried to fit a 1.5 Din Aftermarket CD Player?

I've been searching.... and found that nobody has brought it up...

maybe its because these units are ugly?

Pioneer Unit

BUT anyways... has anyone tried to install these 1.5 Aftermarket Pioneer CD units in their SC 300/400?

I figured since the entire gap in our stock setup is 2.5 DIN then the 1.5 din would be taken up by the Pioneer unit and that would leave an EXACT space for a din pocket!!

any attempts?

Thanks all... :D

I had a Kenwood double din HU in there before someone tried to steal it and broke the face off. It should fit no problem. Keep in mind there is only one company that makes install kits and noone makes an aftermarket wiring harness. You will not be able to use your stock amp either. Good luck

it might work, but i always had the general idea that the GM radios were not the same length as regular imports going from left to right? I thought i was shorter. I could be wrong....

I have a 93 SC300 and was able to use a wiring harness for Toyota models 90-95 or some years like that. Plugged right into the factory plugs. The harness came with 2 plugs. Just FYI.
