09 3gs ML amp replacement

09 3gs ML amp replacement
So I have a 3gs with ml and noticed when I turn up the volume to around 25 (max is 50 I think) the sound will clip every 2 secs. So I'm thinking the amp is going bad. I was wondering if it's possible to jus put a aftermarket amp to replace the ML amp thanks for the help
