IS350 Levinson Nav system - Dealer says "Needs replaced"!
I have a 2014 IS 350 F Sport and on Wednesday, the stereo/nav system started to go into a reboot loop. I figured it was similar to the June 2016 issue and I disconnected my battery to reset the system. It didn't help.
The car was due for the 45K service so I took it in for service.
The result is that the 'Navigation system needs to be replaced" at a cost of $2487!!!!
eedless to say I said "no thanks". Though I'm still under 50K miles, the warranty ran out in Jan.
Short of appealing to Lexus, or buying a head unit from a junkyard, does anyone have any suggestions? Is there any way to reload the software?
