Door keeps locking itself?

When I get out of the car with the door unlocked it locks right back unless I go and hit the unlock button on the doors?

Totally unnecessary. I find myself leaving a window down , as l actually worry about locking myself out......Whoever thought of this dumb feature ,
I'd like to meet him !
