So I have successfully got my Nak system to work correctly with a new aftermarket head unit. I used the metra harness too.

I had to cut the RCAS off the metra, strip the ground straps off each wire to get just the + wire (white, grey, green, purple) and connected those 4 to their respective spots on the radios harness. I cut the ground strap out (its not used). Plugged it all back in, tweaked some speaker settings in my HU and voila, I have audio running through the nak amp AND sub. I need to dial in the sound on the radio, but it sounds pretty good as it is.

Do you have any pictures, pinning or such, I'm trying to do exactly the same thing? I have the amp Metra harness but need to know what to do with all the other wires from the other two non-phone plugs.

Installed Pioneer AVH4200NEX using Metra (70-8112) amplifier harness. Ran purple and green RCA's (rear speakers/subwoofer) to subwoofer outputs on HU, ran front speakers to front speaker RCA's from HU, filtered the front and rear speakers and not the sub, boosted the volume slightly for the back and it sounds awesome. Car is a 1995 SC400 with Nakamichi system.
