Default no turn signals

the other day the fuse for my turn signals busted. so i change it and it blows out again. so i put a little bit bigger fuse. and some smoke starts to come out from the steering wheel. so i took it out and put the same size fuse in and it keeps blowing every time i put my signals on. anyone know Y this keeps going on. any help would be great.

You have any audio or video in the car or maybe a remote starter? Any radar detectors or power inteverters? Did you do anything to make this happen? It just happened all of the sudden? I'd suspect some aftermarket things you may have added. Check the wires and see nothing has happened to them.

Also you should never replace a fuse with a different kind. Always replace it with the same kind.

You're grounding out your power wire to the relay it sounds like. Does the fuse blow when you turn the signals on? Or all the time?
