Question Nav/audio question

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the "sensitivity" of the Auto Sound Leveling in the stereo system?? I leave it turned on all the time, but it doesn't really seem to compensate for ambient noise as much as I'd like. Anyone know???

According to the Electrical Wiring Diagram (EWD) for the LS430 the ASL is not adjustable from outside the radio or amplifier ECUs. It may not even be adjustable inside the ECU as the EWD does not cover the schematics of the radio or amplifier. Only Harmon Intl., Pioneer or Nakamichi or Lexus electrical design department would have the schematics.

The sensitivity cannot be adjusted. But what I have noticed is that it works best on low to med volumes only. Also, it works at different levels in different models. For example, when it's working in a LS430 you can barely notice it. But in an LX470 or ES300 you can definitly hear the volume changing.

my opinion...
