I've scoured the internet looking for answers, but I cannot figure out what I might have done or what is wrong with my 07 GS350's control screen.

Initial symptoms: CD player was inop-no power. Everything else works fine, HVAC, stereo, radio, etc. Nav screen shows all the info on it, although I don't have nav or ML-just a base GS350.

I started checking the RAD 1, 2 and 3 fuses under the p/s engine bay and driver's footwell thinking a fuse was the reason why my cd player was dead. After pulling them and immediately putting them back in after they checked out ok, I noticed I had no power to the entire control unit! No clock, no hvac, no info, no radio nothing. Nothing even lights up now at all. Hazards are the only thing that works. ***I should note that in between one of the rad fuses I checked the control unit and I had air, but no lights or power, no stereo either. Now I have nothing. Almost like it was hanging on by two threads, then one, then it died.

I triple and quadruple checked all fuses and even replaced them all just to be certain.

I also disconnected negative battery terminal.

Lastly I removed the entire head unit and let it sit, then reconnected it--still nothing.

Any thoughts, suggestions? I heard that there is an "internal" fuse in the stereo itself. How do I access that? I have the unit out now, unplugged. I checked all four fuse boxes and pulled every fuse. Disconnected battery twice. I even did the "hold info button and flick lights on and off four times" trick and nothing.

Update: After re-installing it I further noted the security light blinks, the passenger airbag indicator light is on and the hazard light illuminates and works properly. Interesting that those are all part of the larger head unit that has no power, yet those do????

No help here??? Headed to Sewell tomorrow to hopefully get some tips.

I have the same problem. Good fuses, no hvac display or control, no audio. Lighter, hazards, clock work fine. Did you get it fixed?

I removed head unit to install MimicsX2.I am having same issue now.Did you find out what is the issue & Fix?
