Sorry I can't help. My Lexus is a 2006 LS 430 with a Nav. It worked automatically the first time with my iPhone 5 then it quit and I had to go to work to figure it out. If you don't have a Nav then it might be a different story. Sorry Retperio

No, there is none and OEM will not do such things, especially not with Apple or better: Apple with them. Trend: http://www.donttextdrive.com/

Vais Technology iVIC supports Lexus up to model year 2012, see application guide at

http://www.vaistech.com/manuals/iVIC%20App%20Guide.pdf

European Lexus models are not compatible to iVIC-6D. Mirroring works up to 2009 only.

If your car is listed here
http://www.vaistech.com/manuals/iVIC%20App%20Guide.pdf
and your phone here:
http://www.vaistech.com/site/iVIC-droid.php
you need to connect the phone with a MHL to HDMI cable adapter. With this, your nav screen becomes a remote screen. Steering the phone by touching the nav is possible with bluetooth mouse. Build-in on Androids but not on an iPhone. You need a Jailbreak to get this and a horizontal view.

If no Mark Levinson means no navigation screen you can use a Vaistech MML as audio connector and watch the video directly from iPhone or iPad mini or do this:

Hi

I'm a newbie so please bear with me if this has been covered elsewhere.

I'm in the UK and have a 2007 RX400h and have looked at the Youtube stuff for the Vaistech iVIC 5D but the demo shows it in the RX450h. Unfortunately there's no USB interface in my car - is there a way around that, it looks excellent.

Thanks
Steve

Software:
What iOS version do you have? An iPhone without Jailbreak works in portrait and touching the navigation screen has no effect. With Jailbreak it adds landscape orientation and a kind of finger (mouse identical) steering known as tap. AFAIK in moment Jailbreak works with iOS7.02 but on iPhone 4 (former hardware) only.

Hardware:
You need the iPhone, the Apple original lightning digital av adapter to connect to a HDMI cable and you need one HDMI cable to connect to VAIS iVIC.

I cannot imaging that other adapters works because it is a matter of Apple release and not a matter of adapter development/capabilities.

I don't expect that Apple releases the mirror functions and risks security questions. Reading emails on the nav screen is a potentual risk if the driver is doing it w/o screen reader. If you switch on LKA and ACC and your Lexus guides herself on a boring HW you can for sure do other things, LOL.

Your Lexus is fully supported, see http://www.vaistech.com/manuals/iVIC%20App%20Guide.pdf

With VAIS iVIC or MML you add the missing USB connector. All is plug and play and complete with needed cables.

You can buy VAIS products within Europe, e.g. simply order by email: info @ vaistech dot de or send me a PM. For a discount please add your Clublexus display name.

With VAIS iVIC you get the perfection Lexus promised to you! I have my music on a 64GB stick and a TV tuner connected. I enjoy the iVIC every day. Worth every penny.

Default Vais

Has anyone had any luck mirroring their cell phone to the 2014 IS? I don't need the touch screen interface, I would just like to mirror my phone navigation.

Using iVIC for Android (iVIC-5D) and modify as described is not longer needed!

Now released: iVIC for iPod and iPhone (iVIC-5i)

http://www.vaistech.com/site/iVIC-i.php

Works with 5th navigation generation:

2006-2009 IS 250/350/F

2007-2009 GX 470
2008-2009 RX 350
2007-2009 RX 400h
2006-2009 Prius with amplifier NOT built in the radio
2007-2009 LX 570
2007-2009 LS 460/600h L with self parking

Which cydia app exactly are you using to allow touch screen inout? I've tried with BTstack mouse and all I get is "unsuccessful.. make sure your mouse is discoverable" I've tried it with an iPod touch and iPhone and both have the same results.

I used BTC Mouse of Matthias Ringwald:

http://www.ijailbreak.com/cydia/btc-...dia-tweak-ios/

If a BT computer mouse is working, it is working with iVIC but the mouse cursor is hidden and tap the touch screen is an identical event as push the mouse key. Please test with a computer mouse.

In iVIC source selection screen you can press and hold the top right icon to see versions. Check it, everything needs a value and not zero.
