Hello all - I have searched and read many great tips in this forum regarding hooking up and Ipod to my 2002 ES 300.

I am going to go the route with unhooking the changer from the head unit and hooking up the ipod via this cable and just use the single CD under the Nav system (Mark Levinson).

Has anyone had luck with hooking up something to the where the changer was and what do you think of this product.

They said it would work with the Lexus etc... no problem, yeah!! But I want to cover all my bases etc..

Please give me your input! I really dont want to use the FM modulator.

just hooked up my iPod -- works great. of course, my Alpine unit has audio inputs. but that device looks like it should work.

fm modulators suck...

 

thanks for the reply - Well I got the product that I put a link to and It does NOT work!! Looks like for now I will have to go with FM Mod - really not happy about it - but there is no other choice right now..damn

Just use a casette adapter. Costs about $15 and is 100x better than FM. I use that for a 10 disk MP3 changer in the back of my RX300. While not 100% as good as direct line-in, its 90% of the way there.

 

this is the recommended fm modulator if you go that route... iRock isn't good i hear.
