Default Stock radio question

I have a very minor problem with the stock unit in the car.

When I have a CD in, the display that shows what track its on is partially missing. Example: if its on track 12, the top part of the 2 is missing.

Im just wondering if this could possibly be the start of problems with the stock unit. The car is still under warranty, so if its a sign of things to come, i'll bring it in. If its no big deal, I'll just leave well enough alone.

Thanks for your feedback.

this topic has been discussed many times, try the search next time.

just take the car in, lexus will replace the radio for free when you are still under the factory warranty.

Thanks for your reply, but what would you suggest I put in the search engine??

Im still interested to hear from others who experienced the same thing, and if it was the start of many other problems.

I know this isnt a big deal, just curious for the most part.

Roc,

This is nothing more than a display problem. It happens in all kinds of appliances that use LCD or LED type displays.... could be a bad display element, PCB connection, faulty jumper wire, etc.

As previously stated, take the car in and they will replace the unit. What does it matter if it is leading up to something....they are replacing the entire unit.

Good Luck.
