Even with the volume way up, I barely can hear anything much coming out from my subwoofer. The bass is kind of muted, very soft & weak. The other speakers are normal (loud). I don't think this is normal? What can I do to fix/improve this? I have a 93 LS with Nakamichi system. Thanks

 

An Elemental Designs e10k and JBL 300.1 would be cheap and would take care of your problem. It probably won't drown out your stock speakers, but you'll have to turn the gains down a ways... But you may want to make sure that your subwoofer is seeing power before you buy a replacement.
