I want more of a low end fill than the factory desk speakers can provide. I find the stock speakers are not bad, but I would be delighted if it could even hold a wick to my stock Volvo stereo in my S60. That thing had me extremely happy for a stock stereo. No sub, jsut deck/door/dash speakers.
So that being said I dont need rediculous. I would just bite the bullet and throw something big in if that was the case. But I want a good option for the buck that takes up little to no space so I have room for kid stuff, groceries and maybe a hooker if possible. . . . wait did I say that out loud? hahahah

In that case, I heartily recommend the Infinity Basslink. It will do everything that you are looking for (except the hooker-you are on your own there).

I've heard good things about the basslink i not so good things about the basslink ii, another to check out are the mtx thunderlink series. They're apparently around the same performance/size/price.

But for my money, rockford's new r300-12 if you can afford a few more inches in your boot. Mdf construction, new prime series woofer, 300wattrms, i don't know how they're doing them at $200.

The rockfords are large and heavy. Have no experience with them though. The basslink at crutchfield is the basslink 1. At that price it's a very good deal.
