does anyone know if there's a jailbreak or is going to be a jailbreak for this unit?

decription: it's a double din touchscreen made for iPod/iPhone. the unit only has vol+ vol- & home button like the itouch/iPhone.

this thing is interesting ive been thinking about trying this out........ random question, does this also integrate sirius radio through the phone? i cant seem to find anywhere that says if sirius will play on this radio or not

but to stay on point what do you mean by jailbreak the radio? jailbreaking is done on the phone what would be the point of hacking the radio? what benefits do you see from this?

because I have Netflix on my phone but want that app to work on the headunit. only apps available are moxtion x gps drive, pandora, inrix traffic, rdio.

you have to have "AppRadio" to run those apps on the headunit. now what I mean jailbreak the unit so that it could let you use the other apps from the iPhone & onto the unit instead of just 4.

And No Sirius will not work, I guess that's why it let's you open pandora or rdio on the unit. which is kinda gay cause I have xm & sirius.

ok nevermind on that jailbreak, cause after some coronas I kinda tried it, & it works fine with netflix

yea i was going to report back and say that netflix already works haha........ i would get this for sure though if sirius worked on it (even if it just played off of the phone)

how do you like it overall though? seems to work ok and pretty easy to navigate the menus?

hell yea I like it. very easy to navigate, it's basically iPhone .... everything is easy like iPhone already is. I'm pretty sure Sirius will be an app available for this unit, remember this unit is like a week old so I'm pretty sure there will be more to come for this

does the navigation work as well as a standalone gps, or is it like iphone maps.

the navigation can be like an iPhone or you can have the 3G mode and have it even better.

download motion x gps ..... then put the 3D mode on, then imagine it on the double din

This head unit is awesome. I'm trying to figure out if I can put it in my 07 IS 250. I want to take the nav out. The only thing I can't figure out is the heating and ac controls.
