Thumbs up New CLARION VRX925 cd/dvd installed today...

Well guys, I've decided to upgrade my Kenwood VZ907 to the new Clarion unit. All I can say is this unit rocks. The graphics are incredible, features up the Ying-Yang, 7" touch screen, and it's all motorized. I also had installed the Clarion DCV 625 CD changer which is very quick in shuffling CD's.

The cons: Unit seems to be very bulky and the 7" screen is blocking most of my air vents. That will be fixed next week. Also, the manual is way to thick with to many features to even remember. The unit also comes with a detachable piece which could be lost if your not carefull. I probably won't even take it off. Lastly, you have to pay for a seperate TV tuner if you want one. The Kenwoods have a built in TV tuner.

Over all this unit is very fun to play with but more importantly, my systems sounds alot crisper and cleaner. Here are some quick pics I took...

A shot with the TV tucked away. You can still control the unit when the TV is away by the LCD screen.

BTW: I will be selling my old setup which includes the Kenwood VZ907 and the 10 disc CD changer that went with it. I will also be thinking about selling the Alpine 5205 DVD plyr too. Keep your eyes posted in the classifed section in a week or so. PM me if you have any questions. Thanks

Sorry to say that the Kenwood is still rated number 1 though by all car audio magazines !!!!!The 911 that is.. At least you are happy though, and I have to say that the graphics are a lot better then the 911.. I love my kenwood and I think that it is the best radio and dvd player that I have owned for clarity. I have had over 12 head units... Looks nice though!!! Congrats..
