I just got a JL 8W1v2 for my LS 430 and when i crank up the bass i can hear something rattling/rumbling in the back.. i can't figure out what it is.. i think it's inside or behind the seats. When i cranked up my ML sub it wouldnt do this except at really high volumes but the JL causes it to happen more frequently. Anyone have any ideas?

 

yup ... check everything in your trunk, make sure nothing is lose, dynamat your trunk lid and the rest of the trunk if you wish to.

that rattle can just be your rear windshield getting hit by the bass, mine does it.

 

really? windshield rattling...i talked to my audio dude and he said its partially the car seat clips and the whole panel. my plan is to dynamat under that panel

 

yea the windshield could rattle on the 3rd brake ligiht cover.
