Vaistech ML+ Bugs
I just installed the ML+ replacing the NAVTOOL video interface adaptor and GROM USB.
The Greek dealer from Vais did a very fine job.
ML+ does the job of both with a lot better quality to my opinion.
Video quality from my DVB-T receiver is superb!!!!
Audio from a USB stick at 320 Kbps is awesome!!!!!!
I found a bug and need help
When you are in Video Graphics mode and engage reverse, screen doesn't switch to back camera.
You need to put neutral and engage reverse again (twice) to see the back camera on your screen.
In mp3 emulation mode there is no problem at all
My camera is the stock one.
The installer said that he will ask Vais about the problem.
Any other ideas guys?

We have sent the instructions to your dealer to see if we can diagnose what the problem is. Basically we have asked him to do the following:
1. put the nav on the Map screen then shut the car off. Next time you
put the car on, let me know if camera will work ok from the first time when you back up.
2. Put the car on and put the screen on the Map first, then go rear gear.

I will go to my installer next week to do the tests himself (New Year's holidays from today for me)
I hope it will work.
Please have in mind that this happens only if i watch video on video graphics mode.
Everywhere else i am (NAVI-MP3 Emulation mode-6disc Changer-Radio) back camera is working fine with the first engagement.
BTW congrats on your product i like it a lot and it produces fine video and superb sound quality.
FYI one other thing that i notest is that Video in is only NTSC capable and not PAL. My DTV receiver can convert PAL to NTSC so i have no problem but if someone from Europe wants to attach a game console which works only in PAL then he might see only B&W.
One last question my brother's ride is a RX450h.
Will ML+ work for him?

As for PAL, we don't have anything right now, may will do something about it next year.
ML Plus will work with your brother's car only if he has 5th Gen nav in his RX. If he has 6th Gen nav, then will have to wait for a month and we'll get it done.
