Anyone used capacitor on stock amp?

Trying to upgrade the system with minimal impact.

Thinking I might be able to squeeze a little more juice out of the stock amp with a cap...say 1/2 farad.

I think it would be a waste personally. Especially if you are paying someone else to install it. Better to spend the money on something else.

You wouldn't be able to hear the difference anyways. Waste of money if you're putting it with the stock amp.
