Using factory deck
Is it not a good idea to run a line level adapter to an amp from the factory pioneer head unit? Some say it will sound like s&^%? Has anyone done this? Please let me know the outcome. Thanks
It depends ( like most things in life ) on the quality of LLC that U pick to use. My original system used a Stinger LLC with the factory Pioneer deck ( to RF amps ) & I had no significant noise. However, Percy turned me onto the best that he's found. It's from AudioLink & is called the Powerlink II Line Level Convertor. They sell for around $35 but U get what U pay for. Try here:

JP,
I used the same Audiolink that Gene is referring to with great success.
My 96 Impala SS sounded great even thou GM-Chevy builds **** equipment.
My 98 Accord Sounded good also..
Lastly I plan on trying it with the SC300 factory deck...

JP - I've used lots of PAC products in the past ( including LLC's ) with no problems but don't have any firsthand experience with the Vendetta LLC. The AudioLink would be my first choice but anything from Peripheral should be OK, IMHO.
