Has anyone bought one of the 2din head units off fleabay?
I'm wondering if anyone has bought one of these and how they work. It seems like a pretty good deal... like around $300. They have all the features I'm looking for, but I'd hate to spend that money and find out they're junk.
If you've had any first hand experience with these, will you let me know?
Thanks!

Link? You can get a lower end brand name unit for close to $300; I would take a bottom of the line Pioneer or Kenwood or something over the generic crap that's out there.
What features are important to you? Somebody might be able to make a specific recommendation based off that.

Thanks for the replies, guys! I appreciate it. Have either of you two had direct experience with these units? Or are you just stating opinion? I really am tempted to buy one mainly because of the price and features you can get on them. I don't care about TV or playing movies... but the GPS, Bluetooth and OS are very appealing.
I don't want to give any of those features up, but I'm not wealthy enough to fork over $1000 bucks for a head unit that's "name brand".

It's gonna be tough to get Nav/GPS at that price level from any of the "name-brand" units unless you find a good used deal. You may very well be happier with something like you're looking at.
I just bought a double-DIN head unit on a little bit of a budget (went with a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD) but my priorities were different than yours. My needs lean heavily towards the audio system aspect rather than nav and bluetooth and the convenience features.

Thanks for the info Kyle and justin. I'm still waiting to see if someone has actually bought one of these units or has seen one in use.

okay okay i was looking at this and i guess no one did it ahahaha
This one right?
Are they worth it i would say they are. I was doubting it too like many, but it did surprise me. comes with Bluetooth, GPS, ipod connector, tv, and so on.
Pros: Cheap, I had it for 1 or 2 years don't remember, bluetooth, GPS, and all functions work like they are suppose too. Pictures are clear. i like how bluetooth stops the music when someone calls (especially when my mom calls, she does not like loud music playing ). TV doesn't since we have converted to digital signals, so that means you need a digital converter box i want to do it but i have yet to find a small one ahaha
Cons: when using GPS NO MUSIC (unless i just haven't figured it out, but i am quite sure you cant) Cant hook up stock amp to it, so your stock subs are useless. The ipod feature on there isnt GREAT, i would rather just hook up the ipod from aux. and last is that its not 100% touch screen when on the AUX, DVD, and IPOD settings . Its a preset clicking menu, i dont know if other touch screen systems are like htis or not , but this one is. Maybe its me, why do aftermarket radio reception is worst not comparable to stock (not only on this one, my moms Pioneer and dads Clarion)?
Here are some other pictures
MENU
GPS
BLUETOOTH
RADIO
MOVIE PLAYING (TAKEN)
In the end would I recommended this, if your really are on a budget go for it, but if your willing to wait a little longer and save up for a pioneer/eclipse/kenwood go for it, i really cant judge cause this is my first head unit and its does amaze people who find out its a ebay/china made head unit, it does pass their expectation on the head unit.
Good luck and hope this helps deciding, gave you pros and cons

Thanks, Dixon!!! Someone admitted it! I'm ordering one and will post my experiences. I polled a bunch of people that purchased them off ebay and they have all said that they work fine.
