I've got a 94 SC400 that is starting to have an issue with the stereo and speakers. I am not looking to replace them at this point with a aftermarket head unit, I like the look of how the stock system sits.
But I am having an issue with only two if the speakers working.. My kid had a water bottle in the truck yesterday and some of the water spilled out on the left side of the trunk. The stereo still worked but the sound to the speakers was dead... I removed all the carpet and found the the speaker relay connector where the carphone transceiver is located had some water in it.... When I disconnect the relay and removed the transceiver, I was able to get some of the speakers working again... Only the Left front and the right rear are working... Just wondering if anybody has encountered an issue like this or some clue where to start tracing down the issue... (And yes I checked fuses or the stereo wouldn't be working)..
