Default Those with Remote Start...Come On In

Car:
2001 Lexus GS430

Got a Python 1600XP alarm with remote start for my birthday. I was happy with all the functions except for one small issue. When the car is started remotely, the telescoping wheel does not automatically adjust. Even when the key is inserted, it stays in the key off position. Now I can manually adjust it, but that sucks. Is there a bypass so the wheel goes into the preset poistion??? If not, I guess I could disbale the telescoping wheel so that it stays in the drive position all the time. Anyone address this???

In order for the steering wheel to telescope when you start the car you need to energize the keysense wire, I dont have the breakdown for the GS430 but for the 2001 GS300 it says "If you are installing a remote starter, you will need to energize the YELLOW (-) keysense wire to make the telescopic steering work properly. Use a signal that comes on before ignition."

The keysense wire is same for both. The other option is to turn off "Tilt-away", but you will have to visit the dealer for that.
