Gene,

I'm also interested...I wanna get rid of all the rattles and creaks coming out of my trunk when I play my music... is there some spray dynamat material that I can use? that blue stuff that peter lufrano uses, is it any good?

Thumbs up Dynamat Useage

Sasha & Manny - I've found that the sheets of Dynamat work best in a trunk or in the headliner area. The spray stuff ( and anything Peter uses is good! ) works for those area U can't reach into to apply the sheet material. Just measure & pre-cut the sheets into the size & shape U need. Might want to get a few sheets of poster board to use as templates to be really accurate but since U're gonna hide the material behind carpet & other covers, if U run short, just cut a small piece & butt it up to the previous one. Sasha - this stuff doesn't expand. I use the old method of heating it with a heat gun ( makes it more pliable ) & using a 2" or 3" wooden roller to make it comform to irregularities. Still like Dynamat Super & for the spray type, I chose Stinger Roadkill but I'm partial to Stinger products anyway. Also wouldn't hurt to wipe the bare metal down with isopropal alcohol first to ensure adhesion.

Lightbulb Bare Metal

Sasha - Yep, it goes directly on the bare metal. Go ahead & line the entire spare tire wheelwell ( bottom & sides ) while U're in there. As far as buying it, any audio store in your area should be able to hook U up - can also check with Crutchfield & some of the other online vendors mentioned in some earlier post - sorry that I can't remember any specific ones but I get my stuff at cost from my buddy's shop so don't have the need to buy online.
