I have a 2001 LS430 & my stereo, cd etc would go on & off if I hit bumps and then it went off for good. I went to a local stereo shop and he said that more than likely the Amp was blown and that there was a short in one of the speakers. He gave me a price to swap everything out with middle of the road equipment of $900+tax. 2 Questions, where can I get a ML Amp for a resonable price and if I swap out the amp will it go bad again because the speakers weren't swapped out? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've been driving for over 3 months w/ no radio and it's killing me.
