Default My alarm has its own mind. HELP!!

I still have the factory alarm w/o the key less entry. My alarm will go off on its own. I was standing next to my car waiting for it to go off and right before it did i heard a click from the driver door, but it did not unlock. And then i would unlock the door to turn off the alarm and then relocked the door and my dash would light up for a few seconds and then turn off. And a few minutes later it would do it again. It does not do it every night. Has anyone had this same problem or might know what it is? please help. my neighbors would really approciate it. becuase they cant
