can i program one of the key remotes to woek on a 1997 sc400?
i would like to have one of the all in one keys. can this be done? i figured all you need to do is program the same code?
but im sure there might be a reason why it cant be done.

I'm pretty sure you have to have the RF frequency the same or in the same range..
Like I have three "Fobs" for my SC...one is the one that came with the car, the other is a ebay from a 96 ES300, and the other is one that was in the lost and found for a year at an old job....There is a thread on how to re program your (remote) Fob in the audio section....I'm sure there are more than a few people who have modded them...or made other types work
Two weeks ago I soldered wires onto the transmitter plate and then wrapped the wire around the inside of the case...I can lock/unlock my car from waaaayyy far away....theres a thread for that.

i would really like the key that has the larger herad and the 3 buttons on the back of it.
if i can get that programmed and cut for my car i would be in heavan.
