Default OEM CD Changer with aftermarket navi

Anybody found DIY instructions based on the post of Lexusaudio? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=226949. I had my AVIC D2 finally installed last Sunday and it's working great . I'm looking for member(s) who successfully kept the OEM CD changer to work with aftermarket navi and willing to share the instructions. As much as I trust Lexusaudio, sending the unit to him is out of the question because of my bad experiences with shipping. Thanks!

actually lexusaudio pm'ed me and told me he has all the necessary parts laying around to do this modification already. the board he talks about cost more than what he is asking for the service so this is the cheapest way to go if you are concerned about that. i'm going to let him do mines soon.

I know Lexusaudio can do it without charging an arm and a leg. My only concern was the round trip shipping of the changer. I have some bad experiences with shipping electronic equipment, especially during the holiday season. Wish I live close to Ohio so I can just drive to his place .
