I need a motor to motorize my monitor straight up the dash
#2
I don't know of one but I had the same idea for my GS3!! If you find out anything be sure to let me know something. I took mines to the dealer and he had an idea about one that would rise and lower at the push of a button be he needed to know what was underneath the topside of the dash and if it was enough room to be possible to do. IF you have or know someone that has a diagram of the dashboard and its parts this would be very helpful in getting this done for us. Let's go from there.

You should check out the new ES300, its NAV screen is motorized to retract into and out of a resting position in the dash. Pretty slick. You may be able to poach the motor on that from Lexus and make it work for you application. Or, you could go check it out at the dealer to get an idea as to how you might be able to make it work in the GS.
