This isn't played out at all We had alot of discussion before and VideoNavi was workin on the process of making custom setups so some Pioneer TV-Tuner would work on 98~00 NAV systems. However there seems to be little or no words about what's happening now. I'm pretty depressed about that...

I'd be happy to work with any Lexus owner who is willing to try out a Video On My Navi Kit. That has been my problem... no Lexus to try it out on !

Where are you located? I have a DVD Nav system in my '01 RX300....

I want TV/video on my Nav screen so badly, I've even written
to Santa Claus!

Default NAV TV

I have come across this question frequently and no one seems to know of a lost cost alternative.

I have found a guy in El Paso, TX at Music Systems his name is Steve and he has done several of these Navigation systems for Lexus GS's. He has found the wires and a created a custom switching unit to switch from DVD player to DVD Navigation. I am sure its close to what VideoNavi has done with some Honda/Acuras.

NTCS to RGB output back to the NAV Screen and then a switching circuit to switch from NAV to DVD playback.

He told me it would cost around $600.00 to perform the wiring and then you will have to add in the additional cost of the DVD player. You can get them from $275.00 and up.

He will not give out instructions due to legal issues and liability. So the only way is if I drive out to El Paso,TX I live in ATL, GA. So that might be some time.

I hope that someone can come up with the diagrams and instructions on how to do this. I know a lot of people are not electronically inclined, but those of us who are would love to know.

Thanks,

Khanh

Knguyen,

Thanks for reply! Could you tell me how I can contact this guy?
I'd be willing to drive to El Paso, TX, just to have it done...

Does he want the car owner to be there to sign some sort
of legal release?(so he won't be sued)

Thanks again!

I live in the Seattle WA area if anybody wants to work with me on putting video on the Lexus navi display. Send email and let's give all Lexus navi owners a Christmas to remember!
