Default New 2 The Game!

I just bought a '92 sc300. Its my first lexus and am I have quickly become a loyal lexus fan. The car has about 225K miles on it but it feels like its just been broken in. I'm looking to do a few mods but am not sure where to go and what to start with. Hoping someone can help me out.
Also, does anyone have a solution to the gas tank absorbing the bass from the subs in the trunk?

Thanks alot!

Welcome SC4DAHTRZ,

Regarding the subs if u have after market subs in a enclosure in the trunk just take the stock one off there will be a big difference (port it to the cabin) , as far as the gas tank goes I don’t think it absorbs too much. But if you want to, I guess u can put some sound deadening on the outside of the tank.

Hate to say it, but there is really nothing you can do to make the sc sound good. i have an sc300 with a 13.5 JL w7. 3-4 Layers of Dynamatt in the trunk, and 2 layers in the rear seats. No luck. I give up on a sound system.

Welcome.....

Funny, I think the stock stereo sounds great. IMO Its better than the Bose system in my MDX.
But hey, its a car not a rollin stereo right.

I have Rotel Amps and Klipsch's at home to crank up!!!

My car is my calm place...Till some ricer in a Honda jacks me around!!!

Lots "o" miles on yer SC there....Love to see some pics

so you say I should remove the stock sub in the trunk deck? The problem I have is that it sounds good inside but from the outside all you hear is rattling
