I am looking to put a basic headunit in my 92 SC300 for the simple fact that the factory cd player will not accept burned cds.

I have read that the 87+ Toyota harness works, and I was able to get one from a buddy for next to nothing.

I am not opposed to keeping the factory amp and such if it is possible as I really don't enjoy the fact of running all new wiring.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

 

DId you ever find out about that 87+ Toyota harness? I'm planning on replacing my stock headunit as well (for same reason), and I guess I gotta figure out which harness to go with....or will the stock harness work? (I've heard this / read this somewhere...that's why I ask...please don't laugh if that is way off....lol)
