I have a 93 GS300, and I want a new head unit up front....specifically I want one with an LCD screen, 5" or 6" screen. It doesn't have to flip up, but what would be a good one I could buy for under $600 or $500?

 

I don' think you will be able to find anything NEW for under $500.00. I recommend Alpine or Eclipse. Alpine has the best time correction feature that I've experienced.

The 2004 model Alpine DVD player, IVA-d900 I think might be available for that price range since the newer version is out now.

But I suggest Alpine, Kenwood, Eclipse or Pioneer for features, quality, sound and reliability. Stay away from budget car audio like Jensen & Audiovox.
