Default RX300 Audio help

Hi, new here so excuse me if thse have been answered already. I have a 2000 RX300 with the pioneer system and have a few questions:

1- What size are the speakers in the doors? I was thinking about upgrading them with some Polk MOMOs. Is it worth the upgrade?
2-My cd changer wont play CD-Rs. Once in awhile a cd-r will play but it sounds very staticky. Does the lens need cleaning? Are there any aftermarket CD changers that I can swap with the stock one and still work with the stock head unit?

Thanks I appreciate it

Default Ok

I have a 99 with 6.5's in the doors, I think they went to smaller after that year. A local audio shop will know - at any rate - I replaced my speakers and tweeters with Diamond Audio D66 component system, and a Diamoind series d3400.4 amp - amping the speakers and tweeters...absolutely NIGHT and DAY - highly recommended! What comes stock is pretty good. So if you upgrade, you have to get really high end stuff to make a difference. Worth the money.
