i want more mid and my sub to hit more. i went to JL's site and used there base configuration but it is not what i want. right now i have highs and low but not much mid. how do i get more mids and my sub to hit? what do those ***** mean? im not a car stereo guru and i have no idea how to read the different *****. what settings should i use?

im running this:

jl 500/1
jl 300/4

focal poly front
jl rear
jl 12 w6 in their ported box

 

I have a 300/2 and the 500/1. Give me a lil time n I will take pics asap.

there is a infrasonic freq, "Q", center freq, boost [db], and a filter freq ****. what do all these mean and what do they do?

 

Bro just go onto Jl's website and you can download the pdf that tells you what everything means, actually here:

Then after you set the basics then you can adjust the frequency and input sensitivities to your liking. The 500/1 will only have one input sensitivty which is like a gain control for the sub. You can listen to it and see where you like it.
